White Clarke Group has published its latest Global Leasing Report, which provides an overview of performance in the top 50 leasing markets and shows how the leasing market continues to show flexibility in the face of economic challenges.

Three regions, North America, Europe and Asia, account for more than 95% of total world volume

The report shows the global leasing industry has grown by 131% in the past nine years— a notable achievement in particular for Asia, North America and Europe given the struggles of the economic recession of the early 2010s.

The latest report shows the top 50 countries grew new business volume by 0.33%, rising from US$1,282.73bn in 2017 to US$1,287.01bn in 2018.

This performance follows on from the remarkable growth of 16.6% in 2017 and 9.4% in 2016.

Three regions, North America, Europe and Asia, account for more than 95% of total world volume.
