JAMA announces details of 2013 Tokyo Motor Show

This year’s show will open to the public from Saturday 23rd November 2013 through to Sunday 1st December at Tokyo Big Sight and features the theme of “Compete! And shape a new future.”

The show will once again host the “SMART MOBILITY CITY 2013” exhibition, which will feature the theme “KURUMA NETWORKING: Automobiles (KURUMA) connecting with people’s lives and society.”

This will place focus on “Next Generation Automobiles and the Social Systems” with a particular emphasis on Intelligent Transport Systems. The event will also see JAMA coordinate with CEATEC JAPAN 2013 and ITS World Congress Tokyo 2013 to feature a line-up of cutting-edge technologies that will design safe, reassured and green future lifestyles.

In addition, a “Preview Night” will be held from 17.30 to 20.00 on Special Guest Day (Friday 22nd November) for the first time.

The Tokyo Motor Show returned to Tokyo in 2011 for the first time in 24 years and attracted 842,600 visitors.
