This year’s show will open to the public from Saturday 23^rd November 2013 through to Sunday 1st December at Tokyo Big Sight and features the theme of “Compete! And shape a new future.”

The show will once again host the “SMART MOBILITY CITY 2013” exhibition, which will feature the theme “KURUMA NETWORKING: Automobiles (KURUMA) connecting with people’s lives and society.”

This will place focus on “Next Generation Automobiles and the Social Systems” with a particular emphasis on Intelligent Transport Systems. The event will also see JAMA coordinate with CEATEC JAPAN 2013 and ITS World Congress Tokyo 2013 to feature a line-up of cutting-edge technologies that will design safe, reassured and green future lifestyles.

In addition, a “Preview Night” will be held from 17.30 to 20.00 on Special Guest Day (Friday 22^nd November) for the first time.

The Tokyo Motor Show returned to Tokyo in 2011 for the first time in 24 years and attracted 842,600 visitors.
