Kia has teased its EV2 electric crossover ahead of its debut at the Brussels Motor Show in January.

The all-electric B-segment SUV, which was previewed by the Concept EV2 earlier this year, will debut at Kia’s stand on 9 January 2026 alongside the sporty and dynamic ‘GT’ versions of the EV3, the EV4 Hatchback and the EV5.

The latest model to join the Korean carmaker’s fast-growing EV-branded model range, the EV2 will deliver a new model to the Renault 4, Volkswagen ID. Polo and Ford Puma Gen-E, showcasing the brand’s plans for accessible mobility.

Designed, developed and soon to be produced in Europe, the EV2 “represents entry into Kia’s fully electric world without compromise”. The carmaker has also hinted that an entry-level EV1 is on the cards in the future, succeeding the Picanto city car.

There’s no word yet on powertrain details, but the EV2 will use the same modular E-GMP architecture as the rest of Kia’s EV line-up.

Styling is based on Kia’s Opposites United philosophy and combines “emotional design with modern technology and connectivity, as well as smart EV features and a roomy, adjustable space”.

The Brussels Motor Show is open to the public from 10 to 18 January 2026.
