LeasePlan received a “Johnson Controls Leadership Award” at the annual Johnson Controls Supplier Excellence Recognition Award ceremony held in Milwaukee. This award recognises suppliers for their achievements in the areas of innovation, sustainability, continuous improvement, global growth and customer satisfaction.

LeasePlan has provided international fleet management services to Johnson Controls since 1997, managing around 14,000 vehicles in 27 countries, and says it works to ensure consistent coordination and clear information exchange across all levels and all countries.

‘Johnson Controls has been able to exceed our customers’ expectations because LeasePlan is equally committed to customer service,’ stated Christy Coyte Meyer, global fleet director for Johnson Controls, Inc.

‘The partnership and high level of service has led to many initiatives that helped deliver cost savings to the company.’

Jose Luis Criado-Pérez, managing director of LeasePlan International, said: ‘We are very proud to have been selected to receive this award as it really represents what LeasePlan stands for as a service provider: the combination of global experience and local on-the-ground support and driver service. In my view it also represents the commitment Johnson Controls has given LeasePlan over the past 16 years working together in a true partnership relation spanning 27 countries.’
