Leasys, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Bank’s contract hire division, is to sell used vehicles directly to dealers via a new online auction platform in the UK.

The new Clickar online auction platform will make sourcing used vehicles from Leasys easier for dealers

It’s dubbed Clickar and enables dealers to take part in online auctions for end-of-contract vehicles from Leasys and FCA Bank.

Clickar is free to use for dealers and available via a desktop or through the dedicated Clickar app. The first auction takes place today, 26 November 2020.

Sebastiano Fedrigo, Leasys managing director, said: “Clickar is unique in the UK market and it marks the first step towards further cooperation between Leasys and the FCA retailer network. With further products confirmed for introduction in 2021, we hope this relationship will continue to strengthen so we can support retailers with our innovative solutions.”

The launch of the new solution comes just weeks after Leasys UK reported ongoing growth. Despite the pandemic, its fleet size has grown 23% in the first 10 months of 2020, rising to a new high of 16,461 vehicles.

The company attributed its success to products such as Leasys Miles, based on a pay-as-you-go concept and initially launched on the Fiat 500 mild hybrid and now offered on other models.

Sebastiano Fedrigo continued: “The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace has been a key element in Leasys’ continued growth in 2020. While this year has had its share of challenges, Leasys has been able to adapt its offering and support our customers and retailers by introducing innovative new products.”
