Daimler Fleet Management has appointed former LeasePlan director Lesley Slater as its new chief commercial officer in the UK.

Slater brings with her over 25 years of fleet and leasing experience, including her most recently role as LeasePlan’s operations and business development director and previously brand director where she led both the public sector and large corporate areas of the business.

She joins the UK fleet and leasing arm of Daimler Mobility AG ahead of the rebrand to Athlon in October, following Daimler’s 2016 acquisition of the European leasing firm from the Dutch firm Rabobank.
