Middle East companies turning to fleet software, reports Chevin

The fleet management software company reports that it has had several approaches this year from organisations in the region looking to potentially adopt its products.

Managing director Ashley Sowerby said: “In many different places across the world, it is generally accepted that fleet products and services from the UK are market leading. It is one of the areas where we have a genuine lead on an international basis.

“What we are starting to see is interest from fleets in several Middle Eastern countries. Our Enterprise-level fleet management software, FleetWave, is a multilingual system available in most major international languages including Arabic, so we are well prepared to implement systems there.

“These fleets want to gain a new level of efficiency in key areas such as cost control and service standards, and this is something that we are able to demonstrate they will achieve through working with us.

“We have been through several rounds of meetings with some of the organisations involved and it is likely that we will start to sign our first deals later this year.”

Sowerby added that gaining interest from new regions was partially a reflection of the effort that Chevin had undertaken in recent years in becoming a global operation.

He said: “We have well-established offices and strong regional footprints in the US, Australia and Continental Europe. You can go almost anywhere in the world and talk to fleet experts and find that they have an awareness of Chevin and the strength of our offering.”
