NAFA I&E conferences to take place during business week from 2013

The decision has been made following a membership survey conducted in July and will see NAFA’s 2013 Institute & Expo 26 in Atlantic City open on Wednesday 24 April and Thursday 25 April.

The move also fits in with exhibitors’ wishes. A survey of 252 I&E exhibitors found that 62.3% would prefer the conference to be held from Tuesday to Friday as well.

‘NAFA is always looking for the Institute & Expo to provide the best value and experience for fleet professionals,’ said NAFA’s executive director, Phillip E Russo, CAE.  ‘The I&E is created by fleet managers for fleet managers.  Our mission is simply to present the best conference we can.  Based on the results of our survey, both attendees and our exhibitors will be better served with the program running within the week.  We thank everyone for their participation in the survey.’

Future I&E locations and dates are currently in the planning stage.  The 2012 I&E, which will follow the Saturday through Tuesday model, will be held 2124 April in St. Louis, MO.
