NAFA’s 3rd annual International Fleet Academy will take place on October 21st – 23rd at Loews Ventana Canyon in Tucson, Arizona, USA. The 3-day conference has been designed specifically to meet the needs of those who manage fleets outside of the United States and Canada.

Steven Saltzgiver, fleet operations group director for Coca Cola Refreshments in North America, and Kevin Fisher, vice president of strategic fleet operations for ARAMARK, will join a panel which already includes former NAFA president Gayle Pratt, NAFA’s current international vice president Joe LaRosa, and Joe Carreira, NAFA’s International Fleet Manager of the Year 2012.

Steven Saltzgiver oversees a fleet of over 45,000 vehicles in the US – including the largest commercial fleet of hybrid electric trucks in North America – and roughly 200,000 vehicles globally. He has over 30 years of experience in the fleet management and public transit industries.

As NAFA's Philadelphia Chapter Chair, Kevin Fisher has experience of working with NAFA members and fleet companies all over the world. In his roles as vice president of strategic fleet operations, Fisher is responsible for ARAMARK deliveries in over 19 countries, with approximately 10,000 fleet vehicles running in North America alone.

‘Having Steve (Saltzgiver) and Kevin (Fisher) as faculty members for the International Fleet Academy adds yet another layer of fleet expertise,’ said NAFA’s executive director, Phillip E. Russo.

‘They are considered by the industry and by their peers as leaders in the field. With them on board and interacting with such an already diverse group of fleet professionals, the coverage of established global fleets, emerging markets, and operations from one to the other is unmatched. I'm very proud that the International Fleet Academy has been developed with that inclusive spectrum in mind.’

In addition to the educational sessions, NAFA’s International Fleet Academy offers exclusive networking opportunities and a cocktail reception and dinner each night. Registration costs are $799 for NAFA members and $1,550 for non-members. Fleet professionals may save $200 off the registration costs by joining NAFA as they register.

Attendees receive several value-added educational items to take back to the office including a ready-to-use executive summary; free subscription to International Fleet World magazine; the newly published NAFA’s Global Fleet Guide; and valuable checklists for policies, RFIs, and RFQs. All total, it’s a resource package valued at $2,500.
