Norwegian electric vehicle charging company Easee is continuing its UK expansion with two new senior hires.

Csilla Heim joins as Easee’s country director in the UK and will draw on her extensive background in the EV sector. This includes having led operations in Berlin for Plugsurfing – one of Europe’s largest public electric car charging networks – working on developing major OEM charging solutions, and establishing a new, large-scale customer care team.

As the head of Easee in the UK, Heim aims to grow the business across the country, driving forward its mission to shape the future of electricity with its energy management technology for both individuals and businesses, and aiming to expand its network of chargers in the private and commercial sectors.

Carissa Winters has been appointed as Easee’s head of marketing for the UK

Carissa Winters has been appointed as Easee’s head of marketing for the UK and brings 15 years of marketing expertise to Easee. This includes having delivered strategic marketing campaigns for global tech companies, large corporates and SMEs.

In her new role, she will focus on growing Easee’s profile in the UK to help drive the sales of its electric charging robot to both individuals and commercial customers through more targeted and integrated campaigns.

As EV sales in the UK continue to ramp up fast, Easee’s charging solutions will help drive progress towards the country’s ambitions to reach net zero by 2050. As well as working with individual drivers to enable home charging, Easee partners with housing developers and landlords to provide charging technology for existing and new developments.

Winters said: “Easee is one of the biggest electric vehicle charging suppliers in Norway, helping more and more drivers to cut their carbon emissions every day.
