Former British diver and Olympic medallist Leon Taylor is to star at this April’s Great British Fleet Event as the headline speaker at the evening’s awards.

Leon Taylor will share experiences on how to manage mental health at the 2023 GBFE

After spending 20 years in elite sport – and winning medals at all major international events, including a silver at the Athens Olympics – Taylor is now a public speaker, presenter and mentor to members of the British diving team.

As a BBC commentator, he’s become known as the ‘Voice of Diving’, respected for his energised and insightful summaries.

Since retirement, he’s also become mentor and coach for Olympic and Paralympic athletes, including Tom Daley among others.

Leon’s passion for physical and mental wellbeing has also seen him deliver a TEDx talk, viewed by over two million to date, and write a book aimed at organisations wishing to engage and nurture talent through mentoring.

He also enjoys a role as Lead Movement Trainer for the popular meditation App Headspace, sharing his experience and his talent for inspiring others to improve how they think, move and feel.

As headline speaker at the Great British Fleet Awards on 25 April 2023, Leon will share experiences on how to manage mental health and how to help inspire others – a talk that promises to bring many insights to the fleet sector and help operators drive employee wellbeing.

The awards, part of a black-tie gala dinner at the Great British Fleet Event, will also reveal those fleet managers, service firms and fleet cars/vans at the top of their game.

Other highlights of the event, which is being held at Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes and is open for free registrations, include an information-packed exhibition section with firms from across the fleet spectrum, plus a compelling speaker line-up in the Masterclass conferences and extensive networking opportunities.
