Omnitracs Europe appoints new directors to support development

The company is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm group and offers solutions including the FleetVisor system for fleet management services.

New appointments include Frank Souguir as sales director Europe. He is responsible for direct sales, indirect channels, business development throughout Europe. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Mr Souguir held the position of director of M2M business at Oberthur Technologies.

In addition, Bruno Mercier has been appointed commercial director France in charge of business development on the French market. Mr Mercier served as commercial director for Transics France from 2010 to 2011 before joining Novacom Europe as director of development to extend the range of trailer telematics solutions for vehicles.

Finally Dominic Heath becomes director of indirect sales channels, with a role to identify new indirect sales channels for the deployment of Omnitracs solutions in Europe. He brings 13 years’ experience in the areas of new technologies related to mobility and telecommunications, including at Cisco and Vodafone.
