Paul Willcox named new managing director at Vauxhall Motors

Former Nissan GB managing director Paul Willcox is to take over as managing director of Vauxhall Motors from 1 February 2021.

Willcox has over 30 years’ experience in the automotive sector, covering various senior management positions in the automotive industry in the UK and Europe at Nissan and VW Group. This includes as managing director at Nissan Motor GB from 2008-2011, before he moved on to take up the position of senior vice president sales and marketing for Nissan Europe. After that he moved to Groupe PSA and has been leading the group’s work in Eurasia since July 2019.

Willcox will replace Stephen Norman who has been managing director of Vauxhall Motors since February 2018 and has now been appointed senior vice president, sales, after sales and marketing of Opel/Vauxhall, again effective 1 February 2021.

Stephen Norman said: “I have spent three fantastic years with Vauxhall, working hard with the best teams of people that I have met in my career and in quite the most unique and misunderstood car and van market in the world. It is with great pride that I hand over to Paul Willcox for the next stage in Vauxhall’s Brand journey, British Brand since 1903!”
