Fleet tracking specialist Quartix is celebrating its 25th anniversary and setting its sights on further expansion.

Founded on Valentine’s Day 2001, Quartix has grown from a regional provider into an international business

The GPS vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions firm said it is on course for growth after a record year alongside continued expansion. It also remains focused on its mission to help businesses with mobile fleets improve efficiency, safety and sustainability.

Founded on Valentine’s Day 2001, Quartix has grown from a regional provider into an international business, with its systems now installed in over 800,000 vehicles worldwide and serving customers across eight countries.

With solutions including live tracking, journey reports, driver behaviour analysis and CO₂ reduction tools, Quartix helps customers reduce costs, increase safety and implement sustainable mobility.

“Our customers have always been at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to have supported them for 25 years,” said Andy Walters, founder and chairman of Quartix. “Reaching this milestone is a tremendous achievement – and I’d like to thank everyone who has supported us along the way.”

Over the past 25 years, Quartix has expanded its product and service portfolio, from simple tracking solutions to multifaceted tools supporting business fleet performance and compliance, such as customisable reports, integrated dashcams and a safety inspection app.

The team has grown from a small founding group of four people to over 150 dedicated employees today.

It’s also invested in new technologies and markets, giving more customers access to reliable fleet tracking solutions, with a range of device installation options and additional tools.

The company also stressed its central focus on fostering long-standing business partnerships: the very first Quartix customer from 2001 is still using the system to this day.

Walters attributed the firm’s success to its focus on employees and customers.

“Our employees are the driving force behind our success, and our customers guide us,” he said. “Our 25th anniversary is a reason to thank everyone for their trust, loyalty and continuous cooperation.”

He also cited the firm’s outstanding reliability across its growing global customer base, with 99.99% system uptime and just 0.08% of units requiring an engineer visit. Serving over 35,000 businesses, hundreds of which have upwards of 20 years’ loyalty to the tracking system, the company also scores consistently high customer reviews.

Over the years, Quartix has also received multiple awards, including the Queen’s Award for Innovation and the Investor in Customers Gold Award for outstanding customer service.

Quartix offers GPS vehicle tracking and fleet management solutions that are characterised by simple installation, user-friendly software and reliable hardware. In addition to real-time tracking and detailed trip reports, the offering includes integrated dashcams for greater safety, an inspection app for digital vehicle checks and temperature monitoring for fleets transporting sensitive goods.

2025 was the most successful year of growth in the company’s history: with a record number of new customers and the production of the tracker with the serial number one million – a clear sign of the growing demand for Quartix’s services.

Looking ahead, Quartix pledged further investment in its technology and work to continue incorporating customer feedback. Developments include a newly designed user interface on the way, underscoring work to provide long-term value for customers and meet the challenges of modern mobility.
