No official pics have been released yet but the new model will be revealed via a teaser campaign
 using social media over the coming days before its full reveal on 2 January.

Likely to draw upon Renault’s Alliance partnership with Nissan, the Kadjar is expected to be based on the same CMF platform as the Qashqai but no technical details have been revealed yet.

All Renault has confirmed is the name, which is built around “Kad” for quad to represent a go-anywhere four-wheeled vehicle and “-jar” in line with the French words “agile” and “jaillir” representing agility and suddenly emerging from somewhere.
