The replacement to the Laguna, the new model – which bears the same name as the Chinese version of the Samsung SM7 – has had a sneak preview in a ‘mood film’ (click here) in advance of a full reveal on 6 July at Chantilly.

The new model is also set to debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the autumn.

No other details have been revealed but according to reports, the new model will use the CMF platform co-developed with Nissan and is expected to be bigger than the outgoing Laguna.

Production will take place at the Georges Besse plant factory in Douai, France.
