Reservations now open for all-new electric Opel Corsa-e
The 205-mile range new electric Opel Corsa-e is now available for pre-order, priced from €29,900.
Featuring a 136hp electric motor and a 50kWh battery, the electric ‘Corsa-e’ will be capable of 0-100km/h acceleration in 8.1 seconds and a WLTP-rated range of 330km to a single charge.
The car is based on the Peugeot e-208, though it offers slightly less range despite using the same battery.
Despite the large capacity battery, Opel says the car can be recharged from 0-80% in just 30 minutes.
The Vauxhall Corsa-e will be available in two trims – both of which come as standard with a 7.0-inch touch screen, 11kW on-board charger, satellite navigation, LED headlights, alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and DAB radio.
The new base-model car can be reserved at a cost of €29,900. The higher equipped “Edition” is priced at €30,650, while the Corsa-e “First Edition” can be reserved for €32,900. The Corsa-e “First Edition” can also be leased for €299 per month.
Full specifications and range pricing will be available when the Corsa-e receives its world premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, ahead of series production starting in January 2020.
