Developed in line with the city council’s Urban Mobility Plan, which seeks mobility that is safe, efficient, sustainable and equitable, the SEAT Leon Cristobal concept car features a ‘guardian angel’ mode that sees all 15 active and passive safety systems on board activate. It also comes with a built-in breathalyser that blocks drivers who are over the limit from driving.

The rear-view mirror comes with a rear camera to help eliminate blind spots while onboard black box technology records data and images while driving and sends them to a selected Smartphone in the event of an accident.

According to SEAT, road accidents could be cut by 40% if more than half of the vehicles on the road were equipped with the functions included in the Cristobal.
