Share fleet best practice at new RoSPA international forum
A new forum that enables fleets to share health and safety best practice and work with local fleet professionals in the Middle East has launched from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
Taking place in Dubai on Monday 21 October 2019, the free-to-attend International Health and Safety Excellence Forum will provide an opportunity to make new contacts in the region, and generate new ideas for overcoming fleet and occupational safety and health challenges.
Delegates will hear from RoSPA chief executive Errol Taylor, RoSPA’s occupational safety and health policy adviser and former IOSH president Dr Karen McDonnell, and IOSH past president Graham Parker while James McMillan, senior associate from Al Tamini, will give a legal perspective on workplace health and safety in the UAE.
Building on the success of the RoSPA Awards Excellence Forum, the event will also see award winners Eugene Mayne, group chief executive at Tristar, and Stephen Philip Storey, corporate EHS-head at Larsen & Toubro, each share how they achieve OSH excellence. RoSPA awards standards manager Matt Cryer will also provide insight into entering the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards.
Errol Taylor said: “We are incredibly excited to launch our new International Forum, as it will be the perfect opportunity to meet and learn from dedicated OSH and fleet safety professionals in the region. RoSPA has many friends and partners in the Middle East, and we are pleased to be able to develop our relationships with them further through the forum.”
The event takes place at the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Financial Centre, from 9am to 1pm, and includes a networking lunch. To book a free place, click here or call +44 (0)121 248 2090.
