The firm, which says it’s the world leader in rapid EV chargers, will be one of a number of exhibitors at the Show on 9th April and will be displaying its Terra multi-standard DC charging station 53. It is a configurable single, dual or triple outlet 50kW rapid charging station. Its flexible multi-protocol design supports CCS, CHAdeMO and AC functionality depending on the individual charging needs of each customer.

Designed for en route charging, the Terra 53 is ideal for use at service stations, busy urban areas and car dealerships and is aimed at utilities, operators, councils, retailers, EV manufacturers and alike.

Key features include CCS standard and CHAdeMO 1.0 DC rapid charging, the ability to charge from 30% to 80% in 20 minutes, future proof connection via open industry standards and quick and easy installation.

Last week it was also announced that EV manufacturer and fleet market new-comer, Tesla, is the latest carmaker to sign up to the Show as the firm’s first right-hand drive Model S EVs go on sale.

The Show will also include low-emission and EV offerings from a large number of other manufacturers, including BMW, Nissan, Vauxhall, Citroen, Renault, Infiniti, Volvo, Peugeot, Lexus, Toyota, Honda and Hyundai, with attendees able to use Silverstone’s National circuit for faster laps, and the International Circuit for road speed drives. Meanwhile to provide a venue to display the fuel efficiency of the models from strong low-CO2 sub-brands in full effect, the infield Stowe Circuit will become an eco-driving hub, sponsored by Allstar Card Services.

And there will even be a team of eco-driving experts on hand to help fleet managers understand how they can achieve, or even exceed, the published fuel consumption figures for popular fleet cars.
