Said to be the Netherland’s largest online remarketing platform, the acquisition of Fleetselect enables BCA to deliver a fully integrated digital sales platform for its customers. Fleetselect delivers a range of online auction services for OEM, corporate and dealer vendors with a professional buying base of nearly 6,000 franchised and specialist used car dealers, traders and car supermarkets.

Meanwhile the new 66,000 m2 (16-acre) BCA remarketing centre in Barneveld is the largest in the Netherlands and features state-of-the-art facilities, including fully integrated physical, Live Online and digital sales capability, multiple inspection lanes and imaging bays, vehicle test track, pre-sale preparation facility and extensive vehicle marshalling. BCA Netherlands’ new site also features excellent transport links, with nearby junctions for the A1 and A30 motorways giving easy access to the rest of the Netherlands and beyond.

BCA CEO Jon Olsen commented: ‘This expansion for BCA in the Netherlands means the company can offer cradle-to-grave, fully outsourced remarketing solutions to our motor industry and corporate customers, with the capacity to efficiently handle any type of vehicle product in volume.’

‘The addition of Fleetselect’s online expertise significantly strengthens our remarketing capabilities with a proven and successful digital platform and the integrated Autoblox inventory management package.’

BCA now handles 50,000 cars annually through physical and online channels, doubling its previous volume capacity and making it the clear market leader in the Netherlands according to the company.

Olsen added: ‘BCA is the only remarketing company in the Netherlands offering both physical and online auctions. With the increase in cross-border trade and BCA’s market-leading pan-European remarketing and logistics network it means we can deliver the most comprehensive range of services to our customers.’
