Sixt UK has opened a new branch in Canary Wharf London, providing both business and leisure travellers with access to rentals in the city’s financial district.

The new Canary Wharf branch offers 24/7 customer service and access to an extensive fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles

The new branch offers 24/7 customer service and access to an extensive fleet of electric and hybrid vehicles as part of the rent, ride, share and Sixt+ subscription models.

It’s part of company’s continued work to expand operations and market share nationwide. Sixt has also upgraded several existing branches recently, including Inverness, Wembley, Birmingham and London Stratford, with more in the pipeline in 2023.

Other branches have relocated to larger locations to meet increased demand, as shown by the recent move from Manchester Trafford, which was opened 10 years ago, to the 14,000 sq ft site at Manchester Salford.

Sixt continues to drive forward its internationalisation strategy; since 2009, the share of international business increased from less than 30% to more than 70%.

Tim Vetters, MD of Sixt UK, said: “We’re excited to bring the premium Sixt offering to Canary Wharf, marking the latest addition to one of the country’s major hubs. The clean, modern look of the branch, located at Canada Square, will offer London’s high-flyers a range of new premium sedans and SUVs with low milage, including BMWs and Mercedes-Benz.

“Whether it’s a corporate traveller wanting to make an impression at a meeting, a leisure customer who wants a luxury car on the weekend or a driver who is looking to test drive a model they’re curious about, there is a car for every customer.”
