Škoda has given a first glimpse of the interior of its new Epiq baby SUV ahead of its debut later this month.

The new model debuts on 19 May, marked out as the brand’s most affordable all-electric compact SUV.

It’s part of a four-car electric offensive within the Volkswagen Group’s ‘Brand Group Core’, joining the recently revealed Cupra Raval hot hatch and the VW ID. Polo, with the ID. Cross SUV set to follow soon.

The new sketches from Škoda show it’s the brand’s first model to fully incorporate its Modern Solid interior, featuring a minimalist style and a clearly structured layout.

The Epiq’s interior has been designed in line with the brand’s new design ethos from the outset. The first interior sketches offer an initial impression of the clean, angular design, prioritising clarity and ease of orientation. Horizontal interior architecture replaces a conventional dashboard, which the Czech carmaker says enhances the sense of space and openness, while ambient lighting elements contribute to a “welcoming, cosy atmosphere”.

The layout adopts a clearly structured approach for intuitive operation, ensuring ease of use for both driver and passenger. There’s an open storage compartment for practicality, while the free‑standing centre console integrates wireless charging. Sustainable materials are selectively applied in line with Škoda’s Modern Solid approach to the interior.

The Škoda Epiq will play a key role in doubling Škoda’s BEV portfolio in 2026. As part of the European Urban Car Family within VW’s Brand Group Core, this all-electric entry‑level SUV crossover will help to make electric mobility accessible to a wider group of customers.

The world premiere of the Škoda Epiq will take place in Zurich at 2pm on Tuesday 19 May 2026.
