Trane Technologies, parent firm of Thermo King, has completed the acquisition of UK agent Thermo King Northern.

Thermo King Northern, a longstanding Thermo King and Frigoblock dealer, now operates under Thermo King UK

The acquisition includes Thermo King Northern’s full operations, its customer base and team of service engineers and transport refrigeration solutions experts.

The longstanding Thermo King and Frigoblock dealer, which services the northern UK market, now continues operations as part of Thermo King UK.

The acquisition follows Thermo King’s March 2025 acquisition of Marshall Fleet Solutions and continues the company’s work to strengthen its transport refrigeration service network in the UK and across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). It

Thermo King Northern has represented Thermo King as a dealership in the region for more than 40 years, as a seller, distributor and service provider of Thermo King transport refrigerated solutions.

Headquartered in Carlisle, England, with additional service locations in Glasgow and County Durham, the company provides transport refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), commercial refrigeration and cold storage services, including equipment installation, maintenance, repairs, and tail lift support to customers across northern England and Scotland.
