vGroup International is ramping up its work to provide European leasing firms with motor accessory essentials for leasing customers.

vGroup is increasingly targeting international leasing firms

The business is based in the UK and provides a range of services to more than 100 UK and European vehicle leasing and fleet management companies including carpet and rubber mats, registration plates and branded safety and valet bags.

Managing director James Nash said that the company’s knowledge and expertise as a trusted adviser with UK leasing firms was increasingly expanding its international horizons.

He explained: “The maturity of the UK vehicle leasing market coupled with increasing demand for vehicle leasing products, including Personal Contract Purchase and Personal Contract Hire as well as contract hire and finance lease, in European and global markets means that vGroup International is increasingly providing motor accessory solutions overseas.

“As vGroup International already enjoys long-established business partnerships with many of the major UK vehicle leasing and contract hire companies, which are also well established overseas, the corporate model already exists and those relationships are being extended.”

To that end, the business has created the new position of head of exports to reflect rapidly increasing demand by international vehicle leasing companies for its products in global markets.

Justine Hutchins, who joined vGroup International in mid-2017, and was subsequently appointed head of vLease, has taken up the newly created position of head of exports leading the company’s international sales division with the target to increase business in Europe and further afield.

The change comes as the business also strengthens its vLease division with the promotion of

Laura Clapham to the position of vLease sales manager, which puts her in charge of the division. Both Hutchins and Clapham will be supported by Kirstie Nichols, who has been with vGroup International for five years and becomes vLease and export account executive.

Nash added: “Both Laura and Kirstie have significant knowledge and experience of vGroup International gathered over a number of years and that will be vital in supporting leasing company customers, while Justine will use her vLease division know-how to leverage vGroup International business specifically in the global leasing sector.”
