The Volkswagen Group has relaunched its international fleet website to bring added benefits for operators.

Volkswagen Group’s new site for international fleets

The website provides fleet-specific information including preconditions of contracts and its fleet standards. It also provides an overview of group models and efficiency figures as well as covering latest news and current issues, including an indepth overview on the new WLTP testing procedures for fuel consumption and emissions plus their legal basis.

Also featured is the group’s latest work on future technology and mobility. Volkswagen announced late in August that it’s expanding into digital services for fleets and mobility solutions such as car sharing as it positions itself as a provider of both hardware and software. Launched under the ‘Volkswagen We’ banner, the new digital strategy has seen VW also reveal more details of its new We Share electric car sharing service, announced in June.

Commenting on the new website, Armin Villinger, head of Volkswagen Group Fleet International, said: “The website’s new, integrated structure responds to customers’ requests for a presence that is as compact and transparent as possible. We are generating added-value for fleet managers, our target group, by offering regular, up-to-date information on a website that is intuitive to use.”
