Promoted from the role of head of fleet owner sales, Acosta Burga will spearhead Indicata’s development and enable clients to transform real-time market insights into smarter commercial strategies.

The appointment comes as automotive businesses face increasingly complex decisions around vehicle pricing, inventory and residual value risk.

Acosta Burga will hold overall responsibility for Indicata’s performance and strategic direction. Working with local teams and colleagues across Autorola Group, he will focus on accelerating growth, strengthening commercial collaboration and delivering greater value to customers.

His appointment supports Autorola Group’s strategy of combining technology, automotive expertise and international scale to help customers improve performance throughout the vehicle value chain.

Acosta Burga brings extensive experience in business development, strategic planning and commercial leadership across OEMs, fleet and finance, leasing, rental, dealer networks and insurance. He also specialises in automotive data, residual-value management and sustainable mobility.

As head of fleet owner sales at Indicata, Acosta Burga made a significant contribution through his commercial leadership, customer focus and ability to translate market insight into commercial opportunities.

Peter Grøftehauge, CEO of Autorola Group, said: “Edwin combines strong commercial judgement and international leadership experience with an excellent understanding of Indicata, its customers and its markets.

“He has already demonstrated his ability to build trusted customer relationships and turn strategic priorities into results. At a time when our customers need greater transparency and faster, more confident decision-making, Edwin is exceptionally well positioned to lead Indicata into its next phase.”

Acosta Burga commented: “My ambition is for Indicata to be an indispensable strategic partner to our customers.

“The market is changing rapidly, and customers are making increasingly complex decisions about pricing, stock, risk and future demand. By combining Indicata’s technology and real-time data with our local expertise and international reach, we can create measurable customer value and unlock new opportunities for growth.”
