Although Chevin’s software has long been used by global organisations operating fleets in the Middle East, the fleet and asset management software provider has inked a partnership agreement with Pioneers IT & Business Consulting, whereby Pioneer will become a distributor of Chevin’s software across the Middle East.

Effective immediately, the new agreement will see IT and business consulting group Pioneer providing Chevin’s enterprise-level fleet management software, FleetWave, thoughout the region, providing direct front-line support to customers.

Meanwhile Chevin, which already provides FleetWave in a number of languages, will develop and enhance the software with a new Arabic-language interface set to be launched over the coming weeks.

Already Chevin has won its first fleet deal through the new Middle-Eastern supply chain, awarded by a Riyadh-based manufacturing and distributing company operating around 1,200 vehicles.

The customer will use FleetWave to handle a range of fleet particulars – utilising software modules designed to help improve management of vehicles, drivers, accidents, maintenance and workshop, and much more.

Fadi Karajeh, managing director, Pioneer, said: “Our decision to offer fleet management software was made after we received a wealth of enquiries from interested parties. During our search for a partner, we focused not only on software that assisted with fleet management, but also fleet maintenance.”

He added: “In addition to helping Chevin expand its market position, the partnership will add a new strategic product to Pioneers’ products bundle, in support of our continued development process and expansion plans (including the aim to access new markets and offer new products).”
