Citroën to unveil new SpaceTourer MPV at Geneva

The replacement to the Dispatch Combi, the new model is based on the new modular EMP2-based platform, a variant of the one used by the C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso, and provides more cabin space and boot volume.

Available in three variants, including a 4.60m XS model plus a 4.95m M version and the XL at 5.30m with a longer wheelbase, the SpaceTourer offers five to nine seats, with the latter aimed at professional passenger transport usage such as hotel shuttles and taxis.

The SpaceTourer is available with five powertrains, all featuring BlueHDi diesel engines, covering 95 to 180hp and offering emission starting from 133g/km.

Practical features include hands-free sliding side doors and a rear window that opens fully. It also offers seats featuring reclining backs that can fold down onto the cushion for the front passenger seat plus rows two and three.

Onboard technologies available include a new 7-inch tablet, Mirror Screen technology, h head-up display and the Citroën Connect Nav 3D navigation system that is touch-controlled and connected in real time.

The SpaceTourer also brings new safety technologies such as an ultrasonic blind spot monitoring system, road sign recognition system, coffee break alert – which advises drivers to take a break after two hours of uninterrupted driving, driver attention alert system and collision alert.
