Dr Stefan Koch has been appointed as second managing director of  LeasePlan Germany, alongside Roland Meyer.

The role sees Koch become responsible for risk management, controlling, accounting & refinancing, strategy & projects and legal.

Koch has been with LeasePlan for two years, most recently as finance director, and previously worked for strategy consultancy McKinsey.

He succeeds Edwin de Jong, who leaves LeasePlan Germany after nine years.

Koch commented: “With my expertise in finance and transformation, I would like to contribute to the long-term success of our company in the age of digitalisation and new mobility solutions. We want to deliver innovative services to our customers – efficient processes, advanced data analytics and digital applications are an important basis on which we must continue to work.”
