Enterprise Holdings has completed the acquisition of Dublin-headquartered Walker Vehicle Rentals, creating one of Ireland’s largest and most diverse commercial vehicle rental companies.

Walker Vehicle Rentals will be integrated within Enterprise Flex-E-Rent in Ireland, bringing a combined fleet of more than 1,900 vehicles

The acquisition, carried out through Enterprise’s Irish subsidiary and finalised after regulatory approval, will see Walker Vehicle Rentals integrated within Enterprise Flex-E-Rent, bringing a combined fleet of more than 1,900 vehicles. In time, the Walker Vehicle Rental depots in Dublin, Cork, Wexford, Limerick and Antrim will be rebranded as Enterprise Flex-E-Rent locations.

Enterprise said the move would bring greater choice, the most flexible funding options and proprietary technology platforms for its customer base, which includes local authorities and companies in the logistics, waste and food industries.

In addition to its commercial vehicle division, Enterprise operates 24 Rent-A-Car branch locations throughout Ireland and also recently launched its Enterprise Car Club service to provide flexible, short-term, and sustainable car rental options to residents, commuters, and visitors across Ireland.
