Esitu Solutions will showcase its online and virtual reality risk management solutions at GBFE

At the show, taking place on 16 April at ArenaMK, Milton Keynes, the company will demonstrate its innovative, research-backed digital training and assessments, designed to improve driver safety, reduce risk and lower costs.

Founded in 2020 as a spinout from Nottingham Trent University (NTU), Esitu Solutions is led by Dr Victoria Kroll, a published transport psychologist, and Dr David Crundall, a Professor of Transport Psychology with an international reputation in hazard perception.

Together, the pair bring over 30 years of combined research experience into driver behaviour and safety, ensuring a scientific approach to driver training.

At GBFE, Esitu Solutions will showcase both its online and virtual reality solutions, including hazard perception, hazard prediction and risk-based decision assessments. The content covers multiple sectors, including car, van and HGV fleets, as well as specialist applications for areas such as motorcycles, agricultural vehicles and emergency services.

Visitors to the stand will be able to see how the assessments work in practice and how organisations can use the results to identify skill gaps, target training and evidence driver competence.

At GBFE, Esitu Solutions will share the stand with Nottingham Trent University, reflecting its origins as an NTU spin-out and the research foundation behind the technology.

Dr Crundall will also take part in the GBFE Masterclass conference session, delving further into the science behind smarter, safer driving and hazard perception to give key insights on how fleets can simultaneously cut costs and risks.

Dr Kroll said: “At Esitu, everything we do is grounded in academic research, but designed for real world application. We are really looking forward to being at GBFE to show how organisations can take a more proactive approach to driver safety, identifying and managing risk before incidents occur.”

Esitu Solutions is one of a large number of fleet specialists in their fields that will exhibit at the show. The line-up also includes mobility and leasing firms, EV leaders, telematics, tech and software companies and much more.

Fleets attending the show can engage with exhibitors, drop into the comprehensive Masterclass conference sessions and network with peers.
