Europcar Group names new chief financial officer

Europcar Group has appointed Luc Peligry, as chief financial officer, supporting ongoing growth of the company.

Peligry, a qualified accountant, joins the company from French pharma and dermo-cosmetic group Pierra Fabre Laboratoires,  and has held previous roles in KPMG, Deloitte and Credit du Nord,

As chief financial officer and executive committee member, Europcar said he will support the group’s five business units and build on recent acquisitions, including car-sharing startups Ubeeqo and GuidaMi, as well as rental companies Europcar Denmark, Buchbinder and Goldcar.

He replaces Jean-Claude Poupard, who moves to the role of financing and operational finance group director.
