Launched in 2014 as the replacement to the Golf Plus, the Sportsvan brings increased ride height and space, targeted at drivers looking for extra practicality.

On sale from the autumn, the updated model brings new styling including full-LED headlights in place of xenon and new rim choices as well as a new generation of infotainment systems, with the range-topping system offering gesture control and extra standard equipment.

The updated model also brings an expanded range of assistance systems, including pedestrian monitoring and traffic jam assist, and the option of a ‘Security & Service’ package including services such as ‘Automatic accident notification’, ‘Roadside service’ and ‘Service scheduling’.

Engine line-up brings three new TSI petrol engines with Active Cylinder Management.

Sales start in Europe from the end of this year.
