MAN is making all TGE Connect services free of charge for fleets, backed by a new app and a 10-year free digital package.

The new TGE Connect App acts as a digital companion, connecting driver and vehicle in real time

The new TGE Connect App delivers a digital companion for drivers, offering direct access to vehicle data and remote-controlled functions for seamless integration into their daily operations.

Via the app, users can access up-to-date vehicle status information at any time, including fuel level, door and window status, and maintenance requirements. Features such as vehicle location tracking, digital service notifications and automated condition reports increase operational transparency and help prevent unplanned downtime. At the same time, the MAN TGE can be locked and unlocked remotely. The app, which is part of a comprehensive digital strategy, will gradually be rolled out in 2027.

It’s supported by MAN’s new ‘Lifetime Connectivity’ for the TGE. Since September 2026, all digital services in the vehicle have been included for at least 10 years without additional costs or subscription fees. Services such as over-the-air updates, news and weather applications, and the digital owner’s manual are therefore always available.

This is expanded with the introduction of the new MAN ID, which adds MAN Connect Streaming & Remote services. These include the online voice assistant IDA (ChatGPT), web radio (including data volume) and Spotify (subscription required), as well as the new functionalities of the MAN TGE Connect App.

All digital services in the TGE, including online functions and map updates, are now provided free of charge

On top of this, the MAN EfficientRoute package, which was previously subject to a charge, has also been integrated into the MAN Connect basic services free of charge since September. This is dependent on the MAN Media Van Navigation or Media Van Navigation Business being installed in the vehicle. Users benefit from online traffic information, route planning and points of interest. Online map updates, another key feature, are now also available free of charge.

Notably, the launch of Lifetime Connectivity means that used TGE buyers and motorhome customers now gain continuous access to navigation services as well.

To benefit from all the new features, users require the new MAN ID, which becomes the central access point to the redesigned digital services ecosystem and forms the basis for personalised functions: individual settings are linked to the user profile and automatically applied.
