Mitsubishi HC Capital UK Plc has announced leadership changes for MHC Mobility Netherlands.

Paul van der Meulen becomes regional managing director for the Netherlands and Benelux at MHC Mobility Europe

Gert Veenstra, currently CEO of MHC Mobility Netherlands, will step down from 31 December 2023 while transitioning to a role as an advisor to the board.

His career in the automotive industry spans more than 30 years and saw him build the Noordlease business as co-owner before its sale to Hitachi Capital in 2017, when he became chief executive of the Netherlands and Benelux region.

Paul van der Meulen, currently serving as chief financial officer, will now transition to take on the role of regional managing director for the Netherlands and Benelux, and join the MHC Mobility Holding Netherlands BV board.

Van der Meulen, who is a chartered accountant, joined MHC Mobility Netherlands in December 2019 and has an extensive background in finance, including senior roles at large multinational corporations such as Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift Europe BV.

In addition, Mark Feddes assumes the role of operations director for the Netherlands and Benelux region, and also joins the MHC Mobility Holding Netherlands BV board. He brings over 21 years of experience within the Dutch leasing and mobility group.

Jon Lawes, MHC Mobility Europe MD, commented on the changes, saying: “I have really appreciated the contribution which Gert has brought to the company, and his many years of experience have truly benefited our group. I wish him well with his future business interests.

“I’m delighted to welcome Paul to the position of Regional MD and Mark Feddes to the board. I have every confidence that Paul and Mark, together with the strong leadership team and valued staff, will take the company to the next level of its business development.”
