The 2015 I&E will take place April 14-17 in Orlando, Florida, with the association once again encouraging its Members and Affiliates to recommend ideas for topics or suggest speakers and panelists for consideration.

'The Call For Presentations is what keeps NAFA’s I&E the most relevant and up-to-date education event in the fleet profession,' said NAFA CEO Phillip Russo. 'By having this conversation with those who are out in the field, who are looking for answers to their most pressing fleet-related questions, we have confidence that we’re addressing their needs. This communication is at the heart of NAFA’s educational mission – it helps us deliver information that is by fleet managers for fleet managers.'

NAFA’s Curriculum Committee, comprised of volunteers who represent all segments of the fleet industry, receive the topics that have been submitted through the Call For Presentations process and determine the issues believed to be most significant to attendees.

Presentations are chosen based on the following criteria:

  • Relevance to attendees
  • A well-defined topic with focused objectives
  • Practical application of material
  • Timeliness of topic
  • Original material
  • Overall perceived level and quality of session content
  • Completeness of presentation proposal
  • Speaker qualifications, including: previous presentations in topic area, participant evaluations of presenter(s) at previous events (if applicable), and speaking experience of presenter(s)

Sales pitches for products or services submitted as proposals will be eliminated.

'It is NAFA’s responsibility to its membership to stay current and to provide the solutions and information that is pertinent to right now,' concluded Russo. 'I encourage everyone to submit their proposals during this period, to help provide fleet managers the answers they need.'
