Mr Adams will be based in Maintal, Germany and will report directly to Michael Bergmann, European managing director of EurotaxGlass's Group. He succeeds Jim Backhouse who has held the position since early 2013 as a consultant.

Mr Adams is currently dDirector for commercial vehicles, cars and the B2B business of the  PSA Peugeot Citroen Group in Germany. He began his career in product management with BMW and subsequently joined the Ford Motor Company in Cologne as sales manager.  

In 2000, Adams moved to Peugeot, taking up various leadership positions in both its German and French headquarters, where he was responsible for business customer and fleet businesses.
