Hosted by the firm’s managing director Pete Kelly, the webinar takes place on 30th January 2014 at 14:00 GMT.

The webinar will see the firm announce its forecast for 2014 global light vehicle sales – in January last year it forecast global light vehicle sales at 83.5 million units. The actual figure turned out at 84 million. Other issues covered include:

  • Will 2014 herald a recovery in Europe?
  • With rising wages and declining cost competitiveness, does Brazil risk getting caught in the middle income trap?
  • What is the risk in 2014 that political transition in India, Thailand and Indonesia will impact demand for light vehicles?
  • China has supported global growth for several years, but will government clampdowns on vehicle ownership in its larger cities in 2014 curb demand?
  • Can the US government taper asset purchases in 2014 without damping consumer sentiment?

Registration for this online event is free for both clients and non-clients, but numbers are limited and places will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. After registering, attendees will receive a confirmation email and further details about the event.
