Operators can now enter for the RoSPA Fleet Safety Awards 2021, which recognise excellence in managing occupational road risk in all sectors.

The 2021 RoSPA Awards will take place in May next year (Covid-dependant) in London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Dubai

The fleet trophies, part of the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, are awarded to those who demonstrate world-leading performance in the protection of their employees and other road users.

Last year’s winners show the diverse remit of organisations that demonstrate excellent practice in the operation of their fleets, with civil engineering company Colas Limited winning the Fleet Safety Technology Trophy and highways services business Eurovia UK picking up the Fleet Safety Trophy for the UK.

And Dubai driving school Emirates Driving Institute was handed the first-ever Fleet Safety Trophy for the Middle East – showing the region’s growing influence in the field of managing occupational road risk.

In recognition of this, the RoSPA Awards will include Dubai as a venue in 2021, representing the organisation’s first awards ceremony outside of the UK.

The event will take place in May next year (Covid-dependant) alongside the usual London, Birmingham and Glasgow ceremonies.

Julia Small, RoSPA’s executive head of awards and events, said: “The Fleet Safety Awards help to showcase best in managing occupational road risk practice from around the world, so we’re really excited to see the standard of entries in 2021.”
