Škoda Kamiq gets Monto Carlo treatment

Škoda is rolling out its top-range Monte Carlo trim to the Kamiq compact SUV, drawing on the brand’s rally heritage.

Already available on models including the Fabia and now the Scala hatch as well as Kamiq’s indirect predecessor, the Yeti, the Monte Carlo trim brings black styling features along with updated equipment.

The new Monte Carlo model is available with all Kamiq engines and brings features including bespoke black 17-inch alloy wheels with 18-inch as an option, SunSet tinted side windows, a panoramic roof and full-LED tail lights.

The Škoda Kamiq Monte Carlo debuts this week at the Frankfurt Motor Show and starts deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The interior features a height-adjustable sports seats with Monte Carlo design and integrated headrests, plus multifunction sports steering wheel with perforated leather and red seams as used on the leather finish for the gear selector and handbrake lever. Other features bring red LED ambient lighting, special floor mats, Kamiq lettering on the door sills and a black roof lining.
