Dubbed ‘Smart Ready to Rent’, the scheme follows the launch of the ‘Smart Ready to Park+’ and ‘Smart Ready to Drop’ programmes.

Dubbed ‘Smart Ready to Rent’, the scheme follows the launch of the ‘Smart Ready to Park+’ and ‘Smart Ready to Drop’ programmes and offers the full Smart range, with the Electric Drive models to be added next year.

The scheme has been launched to provide tailor-made mobility for the urban environment, offering the chance to rent specific models rather than specific model groups.

It’s also designed to close the gap between the short-term rental scheme car2go and longer-term leasing. Rental periods cover one day to three months.

Vehicles can be reserved via a booking website or directly with the dealer, and are collected and returned directly at the dealership. Apart from liability insurance, the rental includes a fully comprehensive insurance scheme.
