Targa Telematics has reported strong 2025 figures as it accelerates international growth.

The leading tech specialist in  AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) and connected vehicle solutions posted revenues of €125m (£108.3m) for 2025, representing a 10% year-on-year increase, and EBITDA of some €30m (£26m).

The robust performance follows the successful integration of Viasat Group and the subsequent rebranding process, which led to the adoption of the Targa Telematics brand for all international subsidiaries.

Targa expects to further ramp up growth in 2026, with revenues projected to increase by 12%, fuelled by a stable Italian market and a 35% increase resulting from the strong performance in some global markets.

The company’s international activities now account for approximately 25% of total revenues.  Targa has a significant footprint in Europe and can deliver projects in global markets through dedicated local teams, boosted by operations in Chile and several African countries.

Nicola De Mattia, CEO and co-founder, said the acquisition of Viasat Group, completed in 2023, represented a strategic milestone in Targa Telematics’ growth journey.

“The integration of nine companies enabled us to significantly expand our scale, international reach and capabilities across key market segments.

“The completion of this process has resulted in the creation of a European leader in AIoT applied to the automotive sector, with a strong presence across the continent and the technological capabilities required to support customers in the digital transformation of fleets at an international level.”

Targa has recently been recognised by Berg Insight as the largest vendor in the European fleet management market, and by Ptolemus Consulting Group as the leading provider of fleet usage-based insurance (UBI) solutions in Europe.

In its latest Fleet Management report, Berg Insight ranked Targa Telematics as the largest vendor in the European market for fleet management solutions, based on an active installed base of approximately 900,000 connected vehicles at the end of 2024. The company has confirmed its position as the European leader in fleet management for the third consecutive year, reinforcing its role as a key player in the digital transformation of mobility in Europe.

Meanwhile, Targa Telematics has also consolidated its positioning in the insurance sector after securing first place in the European ranking of fleet UBI providers published in the latest UBI Global Study by Ptolemus. The recognition highlights the maturity of Targa’s crash detection and claims management tools, further establishing the company as a leading partner for insurers looking to strengthen their commercial motor and UBI capabilities.
