Targa Telematics is enhancing its smart mobility and fleet management solutions under a new tie-up with location data and technology platform Here Technologies.

The tie-up futher enhances Targa’s fleet management offerings

By leveraging Here Platform APIs, Targa is further elevating its fleet management offerings, providing its customers with unique insights into their vehicle operations.

Here Platform APIs, including Here Routing API and Here Map Attributes, will be integrated in Targa’s smart mobility and fleet management solutions, enabling customers to gather comprehensive information about driver routes.

This data is invaluable for both real-time monitoring and post-trip analysis, allowing Targa Telematics to deliver a wide range of benefits to its clients.

These include the ability to reduce vehicle management costs, support services such as car sharing and carpooling and lower insurance expenses through enhanced driver behaviour analysis.

It will also be able to improve driver safety with proactive monitoring and ensure global data consistency for customers.

End-customers will benefit from fresh data available globally with the same consistency, as well as the latest innovations in the electrification of vehicles and reduction of carbon footprint.
