Internet of Things (IoT) solutions provider Aeris is to provide a flexible SIM management solution for VisionTrack under a new partnership.

The partnership with Aeris will help VisionTrack accelerate its global growth strategy

The tie-up will enable VisionTrack, a leading global provider of AI video telematics and connected fleet data solutions, to accelerate its go-to market strategy and offer customer trials of its technology with minimal risk.

Richard Lane, commercial director, VisionTrack, said: “Our partnership with Aeris provides VisionTrack with a unique capability to engage with its target customers by providing them with greater flexibility to deploy solutions on short-term hire and rental vehicles. This has been made possible by Aeris’ global coverage combined with a SIM management programme that enables flexibilities such as no overage fees and instant activation and (de)activation of SIMs, at no additional costs or minimum contract term.

“This flexibility has been crucial in providing VisionTrack with the necessary tools to accelerate our global growth strategy.”

In addition, Aeris provides customers, including VisionTrack, with the freedom to move their devices from one rate plan to another without incurring any penalties, via a single global pooled rate plan delivering cost optimisation.

“Aeris’ technical and contractual flexibility lowers the barriers prevailing in the industry and ensures telematics providers like VisionTrack are only charged for devices when they are in use,” commented Mohsen Mohseninia, vice president of market development for Europe at Aeris.

VisionTrack is further exploring the use of Aeris’ Intelligent eSIM technology for the next phase of its global expansion facilitating, a faster, more reliable and cost-effective global rollout while also providing a consistent quality of service for customers globally.
