Omnitracs Europe, together with Omnitracs LLC, which was sold in a separate transaction earlier this year, was Qualcomm Incorporated's first business unit and, according to the firm, a pioneer in the provision of commercial vehicle telematics to the trucking industry. Throughout its 25-year history, Omnitracs Europe has provided integrated wireless systems and services to major transportation and logistics companies around the world.
