Belgian company car drivers to receive fines direct under new initiative

By / 9 years ago / News / No Comments

The new platform will be launched from January 2016 in partnership with leasing firms and the Federal Police and will change the current system where drivers of leased cars receive their fines indirectly through their leasing company.

The Fine Management System will initially work with the police but other city services such as parking companies will be added later.

In response, LeasePlan – which says it worked directly with Renta to help develop the system – is asking for its fleet customers to help with customising driver data, either through the FleetReporting system for fleets with five or more company cars or through My LeasePlan for smaller fleets.
