The franchise will commence operations at both Miami international airport and down town South Beach Miami on 1st September 2013, with Green Motion Florida then set to proactively seek to develop the rest of the State through the method of sub-franchising. This development will include both airport and further down town operations.

The owner of Green Motion Florida, Patricio Franulic commented: ‘For several years, we have been looking at the expansion of our already successful car hire business when we discovered the Green Motion franchise opportunity – we felt that their unique positioning of the brand with the provision of ecologically friendly vehicles, coupled with their expertise within the global rental industry made them the right partners for our company. ‘

Green Motion International’s founder and chairman Richard Lowden said: ‘Florida represents a major milestone for the development of the Green Motion brand and we are confident that we will be able to deliver high volumes of inbound business, and that Patricio and his team will exceed the expectations of our customers. This is a very exciting time for Green Motion and our brand. ‘
