Mr Ricci will be a keynote presenter at the I&E, which takes place 19-22 in Austin, Texas, and brings an automotive background spanning over 15 years working with major OEMs and suppliers.

He specializes in data and analytics solutions across the enterprise and automotive ecosystem. He is responsible for helping IBM Automotive Industry Clients world-wide address information and analytics challenges across the value chain.

A tremendous amount of vehicle data is generated every second. Last year, an estimated 26 million connected cars collected more than 480 Terabytes of data. This data can include in-vehicle infotainment, sensors for assisted driving, vehicle speed, braking, transmission control systems, and more. Ricci will put all this into context during this powerful and challenging presentation.

“For fleet managers, having clarity about what your fleet is doing and where it is heading operationally is crucial,” said NAFA’s CEO, Phillip E. Russo. “Big data is a huge component of how to attain that clarity, and Dan Ricci’s keynote speech will instruct and inform every I&E audience member.

“Data collection and analysis affects fleet professionals on multiple levels, from the overall performance of an organization to the risk factors of a single driver,” added Mr Russo. “We look forward to attendees taking advantage of this powerful presentation.”
